Don't date him girl! Good news for the paranoid. Invasive site for documenting those unsavory men who have cheated on women. The rebuttal: warning: flash site with annoying birds. bugmenot

This would be my first guess. At any rate, I saw Kobe on there too;

First thing I do when I meet someone new is to Google them and see if they have a profile on some bitter cheater site. Oh shit, I'm married with kids, nevermind.

But some of the rants are pretty good, once you find them. How can the search engine return nothing for California?

Actually, I would never have gone to the site on the PZN story alone. It's quite entertaining, including the story about this charming fellow.

And yes I'm very ashamed to admit I watch Paula Zahn Now.

This must be a put-on. Liability for slader is too high.

Dear dontdatehimgirl.com, how about a positive site for once? Like a site full of names of guys who you should date? Or more specifically how about a list of girls who will date me?

It's like why don't you ever see a website full of people who don't molest children, and it could have my picture. Now that's optimism.

SO is there a synonymous site for men? cuz, if not, fuck that.

My god. A sketch from Amazon Women on the Moon has turned into the business model for a web site.

(In "Two ID's," Rosanna Arquette demands a driver's license and major credit card from Steve Guttenberg before going out with him on a blind date; she then performs a "dating credit check" on him as he nervously looks on.)

I guess it was only a matter of time.

It's the same site, since presumably you don't want to date someone who would think to go there after perhaps a bad breakup.

Either that site is a put-on, or bearded nerds can have sex with four girls at once in Japan.

Prostitution is alive and well in Japan.

That said, I heard about this site on the Today show last week.

If you think there's a need, start one. Nobody stopping you. This lady took some initiative.

This interests me; since I started doing online dating I've become aware that there is a need for this kind of thing. The sisterhood has already developed a lot of skills for dealing with the duplicitous. Clever Googling (not just name, but name + city, name + occupation, name +interests) is a basic, but there are other techniques. For instance, a friend who started online dating before I did gave me an invaluable piece of advice -- say you list your profile on one dating site, and start corresponding with someone there. What you need to do next is run the search function on the other major dating sites to see where else the guy has listed his profile, and whether there are any discrepancies.

It's a great feeling when this kind of search comes up 'clean', and everything you find squares with everything he has to say.

A friend and I were joking just a couple months ago about making a feminist-artistic project of busting online cheaters. It was fun to think of a bevy of beautiful superheroes (capes and tights, the whole nine yards) descending on a cheater in a restaurant or coffeeshop and making a big street-theatre scene.

I'm thinking its some kind of joke. The girlfriend walks in on the chubby, bearded, 29-year-old boyfriend (who steals pudding snacks) having sex with four high-school girls on a twister mat?

Thats a bit of a stretch...

Gee, I can't see any way that something like this could possibly be misused. Nope, no way nohow.

It's a website where anyone can anonymously post men's names and photos, alleging them to be liars and cheats. Any woman who thinks "there is a need for this kind of thing" could save decent men some time by noting in her dating profile, "I'm naive, I lack any sense of fairness, and I tolerate cowardice."

Well, the opposite of this is NOT skeezers.com but it should be. And no, I'm not linking, you can go and cut and paste it in yourself if you have to see it.

So I guess the circle of live is complete.

Something like 60 percent of men and 40 percent of women cheat, so one should assume there's a good chance your partner has or is going to cheat. The more attractive your date is, the more likely he/she will be unfaithful.

It seems more like a website for women to vent their vitriol. A lot of the guys are scumbags, but I have to ask: why are so many scumbags succesful with women.

Citation?

They've learned the psychological skills of manipulation

and used them on women who haven't developed defenses against being manipulated.

Miko: Are you really too lazy to use Google for your 'citations?'

here is a link.

here is another one.

Yet another one.

Sorry, but it's annoying to see people that can't bother to hit Google demanding citations.
But as you'll see, the stats vary wildly.

Why call me lazy? I'm not the one that brought them up. You expect people to believe it, you provide citations.

Well, we were joking, and ours would have been much hipper anyway.

I just think it's one of those things that seems better at the conceptual stage. In reality, it all ends up being very, very sad. Broken relationships and hurt, angry and confused people. Make it hip and it looks callous. (though it would be hard to make "Cheaters" look any more so)

I might also add, drstein, that your links provide absolutely no supporting evidence for the assertion. What's with the Bible thing?
