The Great Escape

La Fuga - "The Escape" - can be found inside an old bank in Madrid. A "live immersive gaming" experience, its players try to "escape" equipped only with a networked PDA and their wits. Think of it as a cross between the Tactile Dome and The Game, with a bit of Myst and a dash of Cube mixed in.

Sounds like a big budget take on the sort of stuff Blast Theory have been doing since the mid-90s, albeit with more emphasis on the gaming side of things.

The Game is not to be confused with The Game linked in the post. Except, if you want to lose the former.

Damn It. You just made me lose the game. grrr.... and I was doing so well too.

As I said on Slashdot, this sounds like it was designed to the same exacting standards used by most professional videogames.

It's just not a proper high-tech prison without a baggage carousel.

Damn, I was expecting The Game linked in the post to be The Game. So confusing...

Everyone reading this post has already lost the game. If you followed luftmensch's link, you saw that Wikipedia is about to delete "The Game" definition. Is it time for action? Is it time to insure that random browsers will encounter The Game on Wikipedia and therefore lose?

The only way to win the game is not to play.
