Awesome.

Oh, man, I recognize the interchange in the smaller online sample. Always, always, always clogged.

Why am I seeing stuff about sea jellies?

Confusing Flash nav, probably. Mouse over the opaque white rectangles at the top and bottom of the picture of the grass.

The footage was pretty damn well shot - like Koyaanisqatsi.

Thanks for posting this. I'm writing some sketches in Processing for playing with time-lapse video in diff ways, and while these aren't time-lapse, they work well.

ok, is this really worth downloading? I got a sample from the "movies" column in the 2nd column from the left. It's just traffic. Nicely shot traffic. And it seems strange how one side of the highway is more brightly lit up than the side going the opposite direction...

Because there's more traffic, mhh5 -- this seems to have been shot during evening rush hour, which means outbound, suburb-headed traffic will be greater, meaning more cars (and more brake lights, I might add).

Wow. Circulatory-system-esque. A real delight! Thanks for pointing my eyeballs at this. I'm loving light and glass and film, and what they can doo, more and more as time goes on.

It’s cool at the end when the white Bronco finally crashes and the cops all drag the guy out and beat the shit out of him.
