Cute, but the interface is a little annoying - why won't my curser stay in the text box?!?!?! Why?!?!?!

That was funny. I didn't get at first either, but maybe that's because I didn't look at the tags before I clicked on the link.

I agree, muddgirl. A little extra effort on their part and this would have been much more enjoyable.

If they could compile this into a standard text-adventure / IF file format this would be amazing! The concept and writing are fucking gold.

It's kind of hard to play in the shitty web interface.

i don't get it.

I wonder if it maps to an actual board, and if it plays correctly. THAT would be awesome.

What's the rat? I don't rember a rat in the game.

willnot - I didn't play that far, but it's probably a reference to some text game or other. I did play long enough to get "You will probably be eaten by a ghost".

How in the world did you get to this from my blog??

My guess - via your March 16th blog post on Siraya, has the text "Via the always via-ble No-sword;" which is the host for DotQuest, featured in a March 17th post on the blog you linked.

Or was that a rhetorical question?

Why should I have to tell it to eat the damn dot? Eating dots is what I do. What else is my motivation? I am a hungry bastard. Not eating the dot simply isn't an option.

ha ha, that was nice.

close, sysinfo. no-sword is in languagehat's links sidebar.

No, it wasn't a rhetorical question, and I'm glad to know the answer. No practical reason, just incurable curiosity.
