This shit happens to me at work all the time (server). Whenever I try to grow my hair out I end up getting less tips. It sucks that people have this idea that every "professional" haircut has to be exactly the same, when in reality different people's hair is going to look better at various lengths/in various styles.

wow... uh.. wow. Why doesn't the woman sue the dude for slander?

It's amazing how overt racism is quickly becoming OK in the mainstream again. Katrina was just the beginning, I think.

You're just figuring this out?

Where is he lying?

I mean, you know what slander is, right?

Yes... of goatse proportions.

So, some right-wing radio jagoff said something racist. How is this unusual? He's just playing to his audience, as far as I can tell. Not that that makes him any less of an asshole, I'm just a little surprised that everyone sounds so surprised.

Ever listen to G. Gordon Liddy's show? Now that guy's a Master Racist. This Boortz pretender could learn a lot from him.

You're just figuring this out?

Of course not. It just continues to boggle. I considered myself patriotic until just a few years ago. Nowadays, I'm continually disgusted. Every time I think this country has reached rock bottom, it goes lower, deeper into the muck. I want to move, I think.

Where is he lying?
So you agree with that Boortz idiot that she "looks like a ghetto slut"?

I mean, you know what slander is, right?
Wow, smart.

Boortz is an asshole.

The sky is blue.

I'm sure he meant "ghetto slut" in a good way. Boortz is known for raising the level of discourse.

Um... okay... I agree that Boortz is an asshole, but just because he has an opinion about a black woman's hairstyle doesn't.....

oh, never mind......

I kinda like her 'do. All my black girlfriends in college had hair like that.

Is the point that old white conservative men shouldn't have opinions about how black women do their hair? Or that he shouldnb't express those opinions?

Boortz was an asshole before this, and he'll be an asshole after this. Meh. Get over yourselves.

I think Boortz is Prussian for "Cock Sucker."

Thank you tweak. I hope that should you loose your home and livelyhood to an act of god and civil negligence, you would be considerate enough to post a picture of yourself in your new-found squalor. 'Cause, it's funny, you know. And only poor people of color drink.

Last post - but I wonder if the assholes at FARK are going to embrace the Master B.

What he said was shit.

Fuck that son of a bitch.

He's definitely racist scum with the phrase "ghetto slut," but he's right in that her haircut is godawful. I had hoped that the horrors of the 80s would serve as a reminder for all future generations, but this does not appear to be the case.

Steve, you'll have to edit your HOSTS file to admit them again.

For a lot of Americans, anger is the drug of choice. They enjoy getting hopped up on rage and hatred. They don't care if they make sense, they don't care if their target is appropriate, and if you hate them for it, you're just feeding their addiction.

how does "she has crazy hair" pass for political discourse in the first place? this is a country home to phil spector, crystal gayle, sideshow bob, rollen stewart, oprah, gary spivey, bill clinton, donald trump, don king, nick nolte, burt reynolds, elizabeth dole, and jeff foxworthy.

and everybody takes them seriously.

When you're at work your first priority had better be doing the job, not reaching your personal peak of good looks. Job job job, not me me me. Otherwise we don't have a bargain here, punt the job and we'll get someone else.

> if you hate them for it, you're just feeding their addiction.

Heh. If you hate us for it, you just became one of the "us." Welcome to the gang, wear your colors proudly.

Job job job, not me me me

if we were playing charades, i'd say you were doing gedde watanabe's character "kazihiro" from the 1986 feel-good autoworker comedy "gung ho," right before he snapped due to being a young auto manufacturing executive in an untenable position -- trying to run a factory while employing nothing but lazy americans.

if so, well rendered, my friend! well rendered.

Hat Maui, I've never once taken Side-Show Bob seriously... I find his politics disgusting and his hair too distracting...

We need more "Boortz" license plates in the gift shop. I repeat, we are sold out of "Boortz" license plates.

sooooo, somebody isn't allowed to comment on a black person's hairstyle? Because "comment about appearance" + "black" = racist?

I mean, come on, I am sure Boortz is a major dickwad, but if it were any other person with similar hair, it becomes fair game. I mean, come one, when did we decide we couldn't make fun of a dumb-ass hairdo just because said dumb-ass is a certain color?
