What were they thinking? The top 10 unintentionally worst company URLs. I had a feeling that MeFites might have some others to add to this list. Some non-YouTube levity for a Monday.

My local theater chain has the url CA theaters dot com which when you look at it, you can't help but read it as catheters.com even though there is an extra A.

I would imagine that the net spreads even wider if you consider how other TLDs are used (like the intentional del.icio.us). Particularly unfortunate might be those using the Cook Islands' 2nd level Domain: "co.ck". Apparently suckmy.co.ck is still available!

This seems the perfect place to rehash the old story about Scunthorpe's email filtering software that filtered out all the email because it thought the town name contained a naughty word.

It's a shame that Pen Island appears to be a hoax. I'd buy pens from them just because of that name.
