What I don't understand is why the scale doesn't seem the same on all the pictures. For example, this image of a hurricane seems to be at a totally different scale than this image of a hurricane.

That said, I don't really care if it's not exactly 300 miles, because it's beautiful. I especially like the one of Cape Cod.

It could also be the angle at which the image was captured, perhaps.

Probably not, too much snow for Kilimanjaro, probably a mountain in South America, like in Patagonia somehwere.

An amazing set of pictures to be sure. I'm surprised there aren't more comments to this great post (even though it is an old double).
