Dr. John Jeffries: Physician, Loyalist, Aeronaut is a typically delightful entry from historian J. N. Bell's blog Boston 1775.

Subtitled "History, analysis, and unabashed gossip about the start of the American Revolution in Massachusetts" Bell present delightful vignettes of early American history and the web--from Jeduthan Baldwin loses his clothes and his temper to Christopher Seider: shooting victim and Paying attention to black Loyalists. (He even once took note of a project of mine.)

The Boston Blog looks nice, jeez there's so much stuff to read on the front page the last couple days I'm way behind.

Kinda sorta a derail: LarryC, I really like your project, if I'd known about that I would've posted it to the front page. (maybe not too late?) That is a fascinating case, I studied it in a Colonial History class.
