A darker view of nootropia, perhaps.

Ben Tolman presents a hallucinogenic morass of chaotic, organic, intricately detailed (nsfw) worlds within worlds, feeding on each other in an endless fashion.

Kick ass, I've been wondering who that artist was.

Kind of makes me think a bit of Henna/Mehndi stuff, in terms of the detail.

Sorry, BP, it's a double, and a recent one.

Man, I missed it the first time around somehow. Last time I'd seen it was a couple years ago.

I saw (but didn't read) an article a while back that talked about the visual aberrations caused by certain psychotropics and the type of patterned detail seen in Tolman's work. If anyone has an idea what I'm talking about, I would appreciate a link to the piece.

This guy's stuff should be a required part of every primary school curriculum.

It's no surprise it has been reposted, I will hope and expect to see this page linked again and again and again on the front page, until every human has these things tattooed on their optic nerves forever.
