Most of the pictures are from 2005, I guess they take a while choosing the winners.

All of the pictures were taken in 2005. The results of the judging were announced back in March.

Many of these images are incredible.

However, it seems a shame to me that the website has done such a poor job of presenting them online. Some are missing whilst quite a few are over compressed or received some harsh sharpening.
