The Gray's Anatomy one, although 4 minutes too long, has a few laughs for anyone who's suffered though an episode of that sub-ER/sub-Desperate Housewives/sub-the worst thing you've ever seen shitfest.

The show, whenever possible, must be referred to as Deadwood, Cocksucker. For truly, if ever there were a show it should be impossible to talk about without being profane, it is this one.
My favorite episode goes from 0 to Cocksucker in under a minute (if you don't count the main title sequence, under three minutes if you do).

dobbs: I just got done watching the first season yesterday, and could swear that the bit of dialogue between Bullock and Mrs. Garret in the MADtv sketch is actually from an episode of Deadwood, Cocksucker .
Other parts, I'm not so sure, but I could swear that one was verbatim (whether by accident, or on purpose). There really is a scene where Bullock's all, "Would you think better of me if I said I'm the Health Inspector?"

I thought Deadwood (Cocksucker) Pancakes was pretty damned funny. If they weren't quoting verbatim, they certainly captured the poefanity* just fine.
Anyone can cuss, and some can do it with skill and flavor. Deadwood... well, they raise it to an art form.

Deadwood Pancakes is infinitely funnier than the MadTV bit, predominantly because it gets to freely utilize the word "fuck" at opportune times. Whereas MadTV gets to freely prosletyze the Mad trademark to optimum profit.

In hindsight it's possible the people behind MadTV were not trying to mock Deadwood (Cocksucker). They were making fun of Larry King and used Deadwood (Cocksucker) as the figurative comedic straight man. The bit actually would have been funnier had they had the rights to use actual original footage from the series. Because they couldn't they tried to play the Deadwood parts without humor, except perhaps whoever was doing Calamity. Maybe she didn't get the memo.
