'Thanks to FlexiSpy, I finally figured out my wife was cheating on me with my brother,' he claims. 'My life is so much better.'

even though you have a history of posting comments to the community, this looks like SPAM to me, because the message is not genuine and it's short, to the point. Basically a sales pitch it looks like.

I'M NEW AND I COULD BE WRONG, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT TO ME. IF I'M WRONG, NICELY CORRECT ME.

Ouch, a good post derailed in the first comment. I find this interesting, though I'm not sure how Symantec detects the software. As far as I can tell, they can only find out when the Spyware-installing program is on a computer, not actually detect it on a cell phone. Is there a Symantec Antivirus for your Phone?

Oh and sawthesign: please reserve MeTa-ish callouts for both

a. When you've got a little more experience (as backed up by your join date or posting history)

b. When you have some sort of evidence

c. MetaTalk. This isn't the place.

Yes there is, and Symantec will sell it to you for just $44.99.

Ugh. This sort of thing turns my stomach. I recently dealt with a cheating spouse and suffered through the long, fevered nights of planning how I would hire a private detective and really get to the bottom of things.
Getting to the bottom of things was finally waking up to the fact that we were trapped in a Sartre play.
Even if she'd never come clean about it - I know now that my anger was never really about wanting to save my marriage - but rather about vindicating my constant dissatisfaction with the relationship by exposing her as the culprit.
There is an entire industry built around taking advantage of people in this curious time of ridiculous insanity - the process through which we pass while we are being systematically lied to by the most important person in our life.
I wish these sorts of things didn't exist.

The TV show Cheaters is an excellent example of this. They take people in the bottom decile and exploit every drop of their pain and heartache.

Joey Greco is a tool.

Nice to see you guys in a whirlwind of, "of my gosh, did he/she just say that". It gives you even more to type about at 3pm in the morning when life seems dismal. Lastly, there's no experience needed I've been on Metafilter before. I love it.

Flexispy website

Do you think the techs that created Flexispy root around in each others email in their spare time?

Only to the extent that the people working at Smith & Wessen shoot eachother in their spare time.

I like the list of seven "Why Use FlexiSpy" reasons, which is actually one marketing-driven reason followed by six other things that are there just to make it look like a list.

Monogamy's a sucker's bet anyway, unless you're a marmoset. The rest of us spin in circles, feeling disappointed and frustrated, and then guilty about it.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I clicked this post to see what the story was all about, but the comments were even better than the story.

sawthesign: Getting a link from PCmag.com is not the same thing as getting an award from PC Magazine. Also, getting honorable mention in the Cultures & Community category in Microsoft's "Start Something Amazing" awards for using FrontPage to design your site is not the hype-giver you would like it to be. In short, settle down now.
