Sadly, not administered oracularly.

Well, if the suits around the Google boardroom were feeling good about what they just paid for YouTube, this oughta get them to drop their heads forward to the table with a right good collective smack.

Metafilter: The water does not stop it!
Next week, nutmeg and melange.

Oh that's good.

I've seen video and pics of someone doing a tablespoon of cinnamon. They basically explode.

I'm tempted to post the video of my failed "milk challenge". I almost didn't explode.

The Goggles! They Do Nothing!

This was amusing. But, I wish I had come across it on Fark, not here.

Okay, okay... this was a bit weak. Still, I did laugh watching little clouds of cinammon erupt from his mouth when he tried to speak.

I like the tags, but may I suggest you change or add one? SCIENCE should definately have a bang after it.

SCIENCE!

I liked it. The fact that English is his second language caused a sort of understated response that suited it well.

As all experienced chili-heads know, NEVER USE WATER TO TRY TO REDUCE THE BURN! Capsaicin isn't water-soluble, all drinking water-based liquids does is spread it around more. Try milk, cream or similar stuff (sweeten it with sugar if you can stand that and the pain is severe). It will provide much quicker relief and remove the chemicals so they won't continue to hurt you (I even heard of people rinsing out their mouth with salad oil, but that's way beyond my capacity for fats in my mouth; then again, I like hot foods so I've developed a little resistance and probably won't need to take such extreme measures).

From the YouTube comments:

2. I don't find him stupid for not knowing that water doesn't calm the chili-burn, it's NOT common knowledge.

So we'll cross that one off then.
Now there are only eleven things for which we can find him stupid.

This was done before on a web page done by a bunch of bored guys in an office. They would challenge each other to do stupid shit like drink a giant bottle of hot sauce. The good one though was mastering a tablespoon-full of pure cinammon. Remember that?

I remember that. I remember laughing. A lot.

It's like when you light a match... and then *pop* eat it...

You know, you think you're keeping up with what "the kids" are doing and then you find out that everyone is eating matches.

My...my god, I never imagined googling "swallowing tablespoon cinnamon" would produce so many results...and so many YouTube videos.

I thought it was entertaining. His other videos are pretty cute and creative as well. (ie: Folk Dancing Syndrome)

Stinkfactor.com? (Well before the TV show with the similar name...) That's my brother. He's the one that talked me into trying to drink a gallon of milk. And it was indeed a tablespoon that that guy tried to horn. He bled from the face at one point.

They also did a cricket munching challenge, a jar of extrahot horseradish, 12 oz bottle of Tabasco, the saltine chalenge and more.
