It was Spy magazine, if I remember correctly, that ran a long article about Chuck Berry's "fondness," shall we say, for feces. That was the first I ever heard about Berry's unusual "hobby." I'm guessing that this You Tube link derives from that, perhaps indirectly.

I once worked at a facilty that duplicated the tapes that were confiscated from the Berry compound as well as depositions from women in the tapes. To my knowledge there was no footage of Mr. Berry engaging in this activity, however, there was a rather graphic description of such an event by one of the women. That being said "Johnny B Good" and "Roll Over Beethoven" will always remain archetypal Rock and Roll songs.

Johnnie Johnson was Chuck's original piano player and he was great. I saw him with Chuck Berry at the filming of "Hail, Hail, Rock and Roll" and later in a tiny club in south St. Louis playing solo. By the way, both 'philia and 'phagia would be accurate in this case.
