I prefer grumblecakes, but that was still brilliant.

I should add a "via", because there's just so much good stuff every day.

The Millennium Falcon (no doubt piloted by Hand Solo, ar-ar) was great. This looks like it was originally film and digitized; I wonder how close to the original release this was made?

matthowie: I'm thinking some sort of LotR/ Producers mashup with dancing, singing and Uma Thurmann. Gimme a call.

According to the YouTube page (upper right, click the "more"), it's originally Super-8 and was made in 1990.

I was unable to find any information about this anywhere (other than pointers to the YouTube). I wonder who made it.

Wow.

!

(Also, this is Yet More Proof that no one should ever have to apologize for a one-link post. The apologies should be when you have 10 links, and none of them are Sheer And Complete Awesome like this one.)

Can y'all please stop posting such single-link Youtube crap? Or at least show them to Matt and/or Jessamyn first to see if they want them up?

Wow. Just wow.

1.) Who thought this up?
2.) What kinds of drugs were they on?
3.) Where can I get some?
4.) How did they convince all their friends it was a good idea?
5.) How did such a stupid premise turn out so freaking good?

I am awed.

Now that it's digitized, it's incumbent on the creators to make "Special Editions" which clean up the defects, but also add extra cg hands, to make more ships fighting in background and rings around explosions.
