You don't have to fast, although some Orthodox Gorilla Suiters do.
I initially read that as "You don't have to fart."
I think Don Martin would have liked it better that way.

Personally, I think one day a year is discriminatory. Gorillas should have equal access to the courts.

Funny! A friend wrote me to tell me this an hour ago, and sent a picture of himself in costume. I mistook his holiday-sanctioned weirdness for generic weirdness. My bad, Spike.
