I wonder about the night when Peaches, before going to sleep, sat in that classic Thinker pose on her bed and figured, "I'm going to take all my talent and curate it into becoming a one trick pony."

/obligatory snark

well, I hope they at least had fun making it.

I can't think of a more appropriate thread to shit in, Rhomboid. Anyway the previous thread is sufficiently old that it's not showing up in My Comments.

Peaches has reached a new low. I thought it was going to be bad before I clicked on it... and it was worse than I could have possibly imagined. Peaches goes further than any man or woman before with bad taste, literally takes a dump on it, and then serves it up for breakfast. Thanks for this post.

Eh, it was worth it for "Grab My Shaft".

I'd never heard of this Peaches character before.

Well, isn't that her whole schtick?

She should have stuck with Herb.

Peaches can do good. She did a great remix of The Bird and the Bee's "Fucking Boyfriend," for instance. But I know I will hate this stupid thing, so I won't even watch it. Still, Peaches is not pure awfulness.

Well, I thought I was acclimated to Peaches's schtick. Guess I was wrong.

Peaches isn't bad, but her ex-roommate Leslie Feist is very good.

My guess is that its because that's Peaches on the roof at about 10 seconds before the end. Innit?

She must have spent all of two minutes thinking up those clever parody lyrics.

Now maybe Karen Finley can interpret Peaches covering Alanis covering Fergie. It will be so transgressive, oh.

I like Peaches, but this is the Tubgirl of YouTube.

I want to believe that's not her. Can somebody please prove this for me?

She performed this at SXSW, apparently, recorded here. That one I like. This pseudo-parody of a pseudo-parody doesn't get it done, unfortunately.

I'm waiting for Avril's cover of Peaches' cover of Alanis' cover.

Her live show used to be fucking ace, sometime in the mid-late 90s. This, not so much.
