This post was deleted for the following reason: you posted these to metatalk. this doesn't make any sense. -- jessamyn

Ronald Reagan intro = kinda funny; computer graphics = um?; second song = me like!

For future reference, the shift keys may be found on either side of your keyboard, and are usually marked with an up-arrow.

Peter Max! My dad had a pair of these shoes. That video is very cool.

Oh Night Flight... what great memories... the first time I stayed up all night "Fantastic Planet" was on. I think it changed my life. I think I vaguely remember these too. Thanks for this.

Is it just me or does none of this make any sense?

I definitely remember the gisele video. I thought it was awfully clever that they were simulating flight by jumping up and down and then removing all the frames except the ones of them with their legs in the air. Something online as well curated as Night Flight was would definitely be welcome.

What is this post about?

Wow, I don't think I ever slept on weekends as a kid because of Night Flight. Thanks for the post.

Probably best to think of it as a kind of performance art, nowonmai.

Thanks for this, vronsky. I loved Night Flight, but never thought to look it up on YouTube. That first clip reminds me of a pumped up version of one of my favorite road safety PSAs, Stop, Look and Listen.

Someone discovered Night Flight about 20 years too late...

But think about the stop-action flying witches who apparently had to leap and get into position mid-air for EVERY FRAME of the broom flying scenes. In the 5 minute film, that is in the neighborhood of 5000 flying leaps, several more than I wish vronsky would take...

So, let me get this straight... the broom, it vibrates?!
