She's on tour for a little while longer so there is still a chance to see a really unique artist. She also has a new album (a rare event). If you haven't heard her there are samples at the web site.

What makes her unique? Not being snarky, just curious.

Stevie Nicks crossed with Helen Mirren?

aww, you couldn't have said her name in your post ;)

I'm not the biggest fan in the world (although I do love The Mummer's Dance) - I will say she is a unique artist that takes existing genres (like Celtic, folk, instrumental, New Age et al) and weaves them into an interesting tapestry. Gotta admire someone who's true to their artistic vision, especially in this age of manufactured performers.

Do we have to admire a single link FPP to the artist's website with no other links for anything about this person at all? Cuz I don't.

Every journey brings its own surprises, spicynuts: a challenge, a sudden detour, a new set of friends along the way, perhaps even a destination different from the one you intended.

Think on that.
