Surprised myself, I couldn't watch it. Had to turn it off.

As those white kids made fun of shining lights at George Lopez, I remembered some kids I knew at my nearly all-white high school making a hi-larious little film that featured harmless jokes about black people and watermelon seeds. And then I remembered that I didn't find that very funny either.

I've been oddly fascinated/repulsed by the leprechaun video phenomenon for a long time. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen asleep with that old woman's voice echoing in my mind: "Could be a crackhead... crackhead... head... head..."

Then again, it could just be that my roommate at the time would watch it over and over whenever he got colossally ripped, which was like every few days, and would bellow, "Hey, come here, I want to show you something AWESOME."

"Uh, is this the leprechaun video again?"

"Just come here!"

*sigh*

I watched the Mexican one first, and was dismayed by the racism, I watched the other one next, and was dismayed by the racism....

Why are these here?

green moss on a tree does not make a leprechaun anymore than green dye in a bud light makes irish beer

This is the most compelling evidence I've seen for the existence of the Black Irish.
