What exactly is this? It seems nice if you're a John Smeaton fan, but it seems to willfully refuse to say who or what he is.

It's like the first time I watched Trainspotting. If I didn't already know the context of what Smeaton was talking about in the interview clips, I'd swear the gentleman was attempting to give me driving directions.

As a weegie myself I can't see the point in this. There are plenty of people more worthy of being called heroes for our time.

So how about buying a pint for the emergency services instead?

Most people we hit deserve it. They just don't realise it at the time..
