This is an odd mix of the public and the private.

It seems to me that if you want to wish them well you can find many means to do so, including commenting on the flickr photos. But why here?

In short, it seems that everyone who needs to know this will already know this and to everyone else it is questionable why this needs to be brought to their attention.

Since Jason and Meg are both tied in with Metafilter this might belong in Metatalk but not in the Blue.
