Where else: Texas, Iowa, Wisconsin. Basically, anyplace they have a bunch of animals producing manure.

Who runs bartertown?

Apropos of nothing, she does.

Good work with the cow patties though. I think I saw a setup like this in Barbados on a private farm once long ago. Seems odd that more people aren't doing it.

More detail here and here:

The College has committed to designate 50 percent of its main campus electric usage as Cow Power and 100 percent on all its other accounts, which include the president’s house, the college farm, the college inn and alumni house, and an off-campus residence hall in Killington, VT. Total Cow Power enrollment will be approximately 1.2 million kilowatt-hours annually.

I wish I could sequester my own methane.

I believe self-sequestration of human methane emissions is known to environmental scientists as "the Dutch Oven."

Cow poop is SERIOUS BUSINESS, bitch.

This explains the similarity of cow poop and most of the internet.

When visiting Andrew Jackson's home, The Hermitage, fifteen years ago or so, our guide said that most (if not all) of the compound's electricity came from methane captured in the stables. I can't find anything online to back this up, however, so it must not be true.

I can buy cow power through my electricity provider here in Vermont. If we don't go solar soon, I will.

Out of curiousity, what by-products, harmfull or otherwise, does methane burn off produce?

It appears johoney enjoys linking to wild berries or whatever the fuck whenever possible. A couple other SEO clients as well.

Johoney wisdom ... "One of the key factors affecting where your site ranks in the leading search engines is the number of quality in-bound links to your site.

Like most other factors that affect search engine ranking this has been widely abused and misused by website owners (and SEO professionals)"

No shit!
