If you are a fan of longtime MeFite peacay's extraordinary blog, BibliOdyssey - and who isn't? - you can now get the coffee table version, The Annotated Archives of BibliOdyssey. (Or, in the U.S.) Forward by artist Dinos Chapman (NSFW). Kudos, peacay! Via.

Kudos, too, to Fuel Design, a British firm with an emerging publishing division that has produced some interesting titles.

Congrats peacay.

This is the second time I've come across Fuel Design, the first time with Kevin Kelly (another MeFier) who profiled Home-Made Contemporary Russian Folk Artifacts.

Not a bad idea, amberglow, ;-)
I know gottabefunky has some travel books and lelilo has a fun book that I've read. Matt has contributed to some books, and I've also been meaning to buy some of Jenny Diski's works. There must be many others that I am just not thinking of right now.

On preview, I didn't know Kevin Kelly was a mefite, stbalbach - cool.

peacay, your book looks phenomenal. WANT. Congratulations!

Seconding amberglow's pony request, too.

Absolutely, congratulations. The world's most optically seductive blog, featuring the book arts yet, morphs into a book -- this is justice.

I meta'd my pony request : >

This is simply fantastic. Yes, BibliOdyssey is extraordinarily optically seductive, nicely said Elatia, and isn't it great when a writer you like is actually a genuinely nice guy? What a novelty! Congratulations, peacay.

This looks great. I'll have to buy one... too bad poundage is so prohibitive at the moment. I'll bite the bullet when I'm feeling spendy. Congrats, peacay.

Congrats, that's wonderful. I always enjoyed your website.

Yes, this is cool and I have asked for one for Hanukkah. Of all the MeFi members who have sites, I think peacay has one of the absolute best. it is certainly one of the most interesting on a repeated basis, and when all the others fade away, this is like a museum, making it only better, and better, and better, each week, month, year. Also, this book helps me share this wonderful stuff with my non-internet connected friends and relatives. This is cool on so many levels. You go peacay.

I have this book IN MY HANDS and it's even nicer than it looks like it's going to be. Kudos peacay.

Bibliodyssey is, in my opinion, the most extraordinary, sumptuously exciting and inviting art blog on the web. It's a work -a visual feast- of amazing beauty, wonderfully organized and there is excellent, well researched information about the images. Can't wait to get a copy of the book.

Some of my favorite pages are Remarkable Persons l Zoomorphic Calligraphy l Splintered Remainders l Lily l Les Roses - Redouté l Pochoir Insects l Japanese Flora

Bravo peacay!

Congratulations, peacay, on an outstanding job — it's hard enough just to publish any ordinary-looking book, and yours is spectacular.

[nickyskye, your Splintered Remainders link is messed up. It's really here. And it is pretty cool.]

how / where can we find copies down under without paying the exorbitant postage from overseas?

personally signed by the author, too.

Seconding jessamyn's recommendation: it's a lovely volume well worth the asking price.
