Crazy guy sues everyone who was mean to him online

Remember the guy who got in trouble for "joking" online? Well, this guy is suing for people calling him names (follow-up thread on lawsuit).

I'm a member over at the JREF, and a fan of The Amazing. There have been links to Randi before (with discussions here too), mostly having to do with skepticism or the Million Dollar Challenge. But this was too good to not post. Basically, the guy started a thread on the "ET Corn Gods language". People asked for evidence (he had none), and found his "code" was meaningless. They then called him a liar, fraud, etc. The "suing" link is a googlepage that a JREF member put together. I think it's self-explanatory.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Closed randi forums kinda neuter this for the vast majority of readers, unfortunately. -- cortex

Sorry, but flagged. Schoolyard histrionics spawn frivilous lawsuit.

Simpson's complaint seeking $20 million in damages for claims of fraud, misrepresentation, breach of contract, misfeasance, malfeasance, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, violation of the First Amendment, violation of the Fourth Amendment, and conspiracy

Sure, I knew Randi was capable of misfeasance; you can tell just by looking at him. But malfeasance? Frankly, I'm shocked.

The sample translations speak for themselves.

Also...why the game format? And what text am I supposed to be translating? Just whatever I find lying around? Those ET Corn Dogs are everywhere!

If you enjoyed reading about "The Bible Code", "The DaVinci Code", "The Dead Sea Scrolls", the "Matrix Trillogy", or the "Gnostic Gospels", the ET Corn Gods Game will knock your socks off.

I can't disagree.

You can't see any of the forum links without being registered, seems to be where the guts of the story would play out.

The randi.org forums are password-protected, so a cache of a copy of a legal summons is the substance of this post. Flagged.

Dang! I hadn't thought of that. A lot of background is missed without those two threads.
