This post was deleted for the following reason: this is a press release and a wikipedia article. While I agree it's sort of inteersting news, newsfilter posts are held to a sort of higher "why shoudl I care" standard since it's a huge melting pot of nerds from all over here. -- jessamyn

Looks like Romney is getting the nomination then.

Romney left Bain years ago... even if he is still somehow vested in the company, I doubt it would be to the extent that he could exert much influence over them.

I think this a double, but I can't seem to find it.

I searched for "private equity sector continues to piss me off" but didn't find a previously.

First of all, this is old news. A year and one month old, to be exact. Furthermore, there is no evidence that Mitt Romney has any more than a passive investment in Bain (and I don't even know that to a certainty). So what is the point of this, exactly?

Third of all, this FPP sucks. A link to a press release and wikipedia? I'll ask politely: blow it out your ass.

Old news. This actually occurred in 2006.

Romney left Bain SIX years ago. I'm sure he still goes golfing with all his buddies from there. This is another Halliburton in the making. Luckily they don't seem as interested in war profiteering... at the moment. I imagine his campaign will "negotiate" a lot of discount rates and find other ways to get some free publicity.
