I have to say, I'm surprised that I watched that all the way through (and liked it!). I was worried it was going to have been actually produced by the Conan guys, who are so un-amusing that they make my socks fall down. Good find!

Although I actually do find Conan amusing sometimes, I too was thinking "this is bound to be stupid" until about 1.5 seconds into the edited part, at which point I realized that whoever made this was obviously far too skilled to be employed by NBC.

Ya, these YouTube-y remix deals are lame pretty much every time, but I actually laughed at this one, once they mixed in the Conan faces.

Shatner always screams. He did skydiving and apparently screamed the whole way down. When asked why, he said he had to let 'this terrible thing' out of himself.

I went into that video with a sense of dread. I was not sure that I wanted to risk hearing a rapping Shatner. My heart sank as I was apparently exposed to little more than the man yelling "woooo" as he raced.
And then the funk began and I found that my heart was doing the racing.

That Shatner Common People link was horrible! I've been on a Pulp kick for the past month or two, and that was really unpleasant. Can you imagine him belting out Babies? Gah.
Since this is a double, let's talk Shatner for a second. I'd like to think that he's in on the joke of Shatner, but I feel that his is getting high on his own supply--which, now that I think of it, is what I think of Conan. Anyone have a read on this?
