The Whale Hunt. A new experiment in true story telling and photographic craft with the talented Jonathan Harris. Fully interesting Adobe categorizing interface that will soon (likely) be copied by less interesting people. Not safe for: work, the faint of heart, people, cetacean-lovers, people who think whales are beautifully ridiculous, and the squeamish. But, all in all, a fascinating story about Alaskan Inuit whaling seen from one angle chronicling many points of entry and exit.

"...interface that will soon (likely) be copied"

Oh dear god, I hope not. That interface adds nothing to and is generally distracting from the already amazing photos.

Not to mention it's absolute uselessness.

The interface is mezmerising but so hard to navigate. I gave up trying to see anything cool.

Ridiculous?! That better be an out-of-context quote or I'm going to unleash a pod of whoopass.

Interesting. This interface still blows as hard as it did the last time this was posted.

A truly horrendous interface.

Searching MetaFilter for either "whale" or "Harris" brings up the earlier post, for what that's worth.
