I love that pic of the NYC street at night (And the rest). That said I think we've had most of those pictures linked from here before.

Too bad this is a double. These pictures make me realize that I think about the first half of the century in a largely "black and white" kind of way. It was really odd to see images from that period in color, a very defamiliarizing effect. In some sense, it makes me feel that I never really saw real people behind the B&W photography of the people.
