Medical Slang and Medical Acronyms you should know if you're going to deal with doctors. Well, maybe sometimes, you're better off not knowing...
How many of these were first used by Dr. Gregory House?

some of my fave acronyms (A-F)...
APTFRAN - Apply Pillow To Face, Repeat As Necessary
BOHICA - Bend Over, Here It Comes Again
BUNDY - But Unfortunately Not Dead Yet
CCFCCP - Coo-coo for Co-Co Puffs
CHAOS - Chronic Hurts All Over Syndrome
FABIANS - Felt Awful But I'm Allright Now Syndrome

and slang...
Code Yellow - urinary incontinence emergency
Cunts and Runts - Maternity and Paediatrics
Deep fry - cobalt therapy
Eating In - Intravenous feeding
Feather Count - measure of flakiness
Feed and Seed - care for vegetative patient

I just saw these on Fark and Cracked. Honestly, the only one's I've seen used in real life are Code Brown (for exactly what you think) and FITH syndrome -- Fucked In The Head.

Of course, there's always the diagnosis of "acopia" aka "time for a nursing home."

Yep, it has: Donorcycle - motorbike: the biggest cause of donated organs!

(I dated a doctor; that was one of her favorites. She also told me of the practice of naming your cadaver in whatever year of med school you do that shit. Nice find, wendell.)
