Offense on a level seldom seen by man

Electricretard.com is a webcomic that is likely to offend you without regard to your race, creed, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, age, disability, etc. NSFW cubed. I'm not joking. via

Eric Vaughn (website @ Sigvatr) also did the Competitive Spree Killing Organization and is working on a couple of games (Link-Dead and Berserker) found in this interview of him and his development partner, Michal Marcinkowski.

I apologize in advance.

No thanks. Can someone add "uninteresting," "unremarkable," and "deleted" tags?

This isn't funny.

2nding the "deleted" tag.

Didn't this make the rounds of lesser web aggregators a few days ago?

MetaFilter. That's kinda the point.

It's like "Perry Bible Fellowship" except without the talent, insight, or humor. So I guess it's not much like PBF after all.

Your art is bad and you should feel bad.

I'll save some of your time. if you don't think calling somebody a "retard" is funny, you won't think this is funny.

I can handle offensive content if there is some other merit to the piece. This is bad art, bad writing, just bad, bad, bad. It isn't even close to funny. In future, if you feel compelled to apologise to the Hivemind within a post, maybe you just shouldn't be posting it.

Wow. A comic made by that weird, smelly kid who played with roadkill and liked to start fires. Or actually, more like a comic made by some boring douche who's trying really, really hard to appear to be that weird, smelly kid who played with roadkill and liked to start fires. This is the dumbest thing I've seen on the Internet in recent memory. Maybe ever. It's certainly the worst Metafilter post I can ever remember seeing. FARK would even think this is stupid. Delete with extreme prejudice.

Eric, I can't possibly know what career your parents are trying to pigeonhole you into, but seriously, you should stop flailing and listen to them*.

Generally speaking, FPP's that contain pre-emptive apologies are usually really, really bad.

This is a brilliantly meta commentary on the state of media and entertainment in modern society. Our unwillingness to consider this work critically highlights our propensity to defecate upon the things that scare us.

I've seen things more offensive that I thought were great, but this is just amazingly lame, and being forced-lazy kind of offensive isn't exciting enough to alter that fact.

The problem with this post isn't so much the content (self-conscious in its offensiveness in a sophomoric way) but the "OMG! Offensive!" tone. You wanna link to goatse next, guy?

this fucking sucks

also the comment "this fucking sucks" is more a more trenchant, interesting, and important piece of art than any of the five cartoons i read from the link

See, I don't find the inane attempts at shock/schlock value the most offensive thing here. I have been on this internet thing for a while now.

No, the thing that appalls me is the "oh I'm so clever, take that mum and dad" mentality of this Eric kid. You're not original Eric. In fact, being close to your age, I know thousands of kids like you. Each more shockingly 'original' than the last. The very least Eric can do is lose the ridiculous haircut. At least that way there is some surprise in the fact that he is 'Daddy's lawyer son that was'.

Scare us? Naw, it just has no merit whatsoever. I don't even dislike the comic, I dislike that something so bland has wasted my time.

I've emailed the admins asking for a delete. This isn't a selflink and I don't know the guy. I made a mistake posting this. Just a brainfart, I guess. It looks like I make a better lurker than poster.

I can handle far more offensive things if they are funny, interesting, trenchant or intelligent. This is amazingly worthless on all fronts, and I'll go so far as to say that the person who came up with them is incapable of being funny or interesting ever.

I don't think I'd call it brilliant at all but in my opinion there's certainly more "art" to this than someone making a big fake crack in the floor and a lot of other bullshit people get called on here for questioning as art. At least these shit comics carry whatever meaning they carry. The crack on the floor is apparently about racism - try and draw that from the work without an artist's statement.

But no. Pointless.
