I suppose I should quickly point out to fans that there is also a full-length (22 minute) episode of Everybody Loves Hypnotoad. It's an extra feature on the Bender's Big Score DVD. Having just watched it, I feel very . . . calm.

Hypnotoad is one of the older memes of the internet, post flash. The wikipedia article only mentions Futurama, which didn't create Hypnotoad.

loquacious - Hypnotoad is absolutely an invention of Futurama. Maybe there was something prior that inspired it, but you're going to have to show... ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!

No, it's not. It predates Futurama on the net by a number of years. I first saw Hypnotoad as a small Flash loop. Check out the link I posted above.
