Seeing Eye Dogs are the most common helper-animals that we see. There are of course, helper ponies, helper monkeys, and helper... parrots? Legislators are trying to decide where to draw the line, while disability activists argue that these animals are providing an indispensable service.

Thank goodness legislators are working on the pressing issues of the day like how to stem the flood of people abusing the Americans With Disabilities Act as an excuse to take their miniature ponies along for companionship when they go shopping.

A blind man with a seeing eye dog at his side walks into a grocery store. He walks to the middle of the store, picks up the dog by the tail, and starts swinging the dog around in circles over his head.
The store manager, who has seen all this, thinks this is quite strange, so he decides to find out what's going on. The store manager approaches the blind man swinging the dog and says, "Pardon me. May I help you with something."
The blind man says, "No thanks. I'm just looking around."
