My new hero John Ninomiya is going to fly tethered to a cluster of balloons this weekend. I've dreamt of doing this since a kid and I guess I'm not alone.

He should develop a do-it-at-home kid for the kiddies. Just attach a long tether.

Would kick ass at the feel-good price of 3 easy payments of $29.99.

I would buy one for my future kid. I see it hitting the mass market in 2006 or 7.

If anyone is still reading this, I have the first few pictures from the flight up on my homepage.

I took almost 300 pictures. I'll have more later.

He had everything worked out very well. Despite the fact that this thing is held together with tape and string, it seemed pretty well engineered.
