The Incredible Bifurcating Falcon

New Falcon Press publisher Dr. Christopher Hyatt died on February 9th, 2008. Within a very short time, a series of events led to the establishment of Original Falcon with Dr. Hyatt's widow Linda Miller and long-time partner Nick Tharcher. Dr. Hyatt's estranged son Michael Miller has issued a (rather terse) public statement regarding his acquisition of New Falcon Press which can be read here. Last weekend, Nick Tharcher and Linda Miller at Original Falcon were interviewed for GPod Radio and have elaborated on the circumstances surrounding the death of Dr. Hyatt and the future of their back-catalog of books, which includes works by Dr. Leary, Dr. Regardie, Aleister Crowley, and Robert Anton Wilson, all now apparently in a kind of legal limbo.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Sounds like a sad, interesting mess of a story, but it's also something that you're apparently pretty personally invovled in and affected by and that makes this not really okay for you to be posting about on the front page of mefi. -- cortex
