I think it's perfectly valid to post it out of context, and with a minimal amount of explanation, leaving the person who finds it to have to figure out what it is, where it's from, and what the hell is going on.
Sorry I didn't lay it all out on a plate for you. One of the great things about stumbling upon something you haven't seen before and might be intrigued by is finding out, for yourself, what it is.
And I used the context of the meme to slip it in.
And Hombre is still laughing.

I expect that because of its stunt factor, it will be deleted by the time I get home to watch it. Would "more inside" and a link to "Even Dwarfs Started Small" have explained away the video's charm?
Or is the laughing dwarf Metafilter's equivalent of Rickrolling?
