Yahoo 360 is Done!

Yahoo! is shutting down the social networking site, Yahoo! 360, next month. The closure follows the shuttering of services Y! 360 aimed at college graduates and Mash, two other networking efforts opened in 2007 and then quietly closed. Yahoo! believes its family of services already provides social networking functions, but the company has singularly failed to deal with the success of the likes of Facebook.

This post was deleted for the following reason: one link to a sort of snarky IT blog is not really the great way to make a post on the closing of Yahoo 360. Maybe try to put one together that's a little more substantive? -- jessamyn

This is the first I've heard of Yahoo! 360. That's the problem, I spose.

Yeah Tim, I think Yahoo! is sorta like Bing but with fewer links to the Mexican Embassy in London (Ontario).
