I Never Want To Be Tortured

I Never Want To Be Tortured Things that existed in medieval times that we don't have today make it seem like it was so much cooler back then: knights, chivarly, mandatory corsets, dragons...but we forget that there was something a little crappier that also existed: torture. Sure, we have torture now, but who in the western world still rolls like THIS ?

This post was deleted for the following reason: Kind of a lame diggbait site that you're a pretty active user on. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that this is just compromised judgement from being a fan and not an actual attempt to shill something you have a stake in, but don't do this in the future. -- cortex

Oddly, I can imagine number four becoming a popular body-mod or something among the dumb and hip set. But then again, I've seen young people walking around wearing coalminer's helmets, so maybe they're flat out of affectations at this point.

When a victim is placed inside the brazen bull, he or she is slowly burned to death. This device gradually became more sophisticated until the Greeks invented a complex system of tubes in order to make the victim's screams sound like an infuriated ox.

I think it was so that people like me who regretted following the first link would have to be confronted with it a second time.

The jokes at the end of each paragraph are in really poor taste (especially because they aren't funny in the slightest) and make the author come off as the sort of person I probably wouldn't want to go for a drink with, nevermind meet in the back of a dark alley...

Damn, how much do those names sound like bodice-ripper novels? The heretic's fork? The Brazen Bull? Come on, it's like a sauce factory!

The Spanish Donkey were at the forefront of NWOBHM but sadly their name just never caught on and did much to undermine their genius.
