How American Healthcare Killed My Father. Dave Goldhill's article in the Atlantic is an indictment of the structural problems beneath the current debate. "Why do we view health care as disconnected from everything else? Why do we spend so much on it? And why, ultimately, do we get such inconsistent results? Any discussion of the ills within the system must begin with a hard look at the tax-advantaged comprehensive-insurance industry at its center."
