It was well animated, extensively planned and thought out, and pretty slick.

He's trying too hard.

I didn't think it was all that funny, and just a knock off of All Your Base in general. My impression's always been that memes like AYBABTU come about more accidently, both as ideas and crazes. I don't think you can plan to be a meme.

I think there are attempts at creating memes, take for example the obey giant, that has made the iconic Andre the Giant image somewhat ubiquitous.

maybe he's not trying to be the next craze?

maybe he's just being creative!

damn people, do you have to be so uppity ALL the time?

Yeah, definitely Tomorama + Drezdn. That's why major media organizations enforced meme's are prone to pissing me off. Especially when the public so often fall for the endless stream of them. Joe Soap can eat shit sandwiches all day and still have room for a spoon fed desert. 'wazzzzzagghhhhhhp'. No links to go with this comment as it'd mean delving through the cesspool of pollution i switch on my computer to escape.

Oh, Jcterminal, why do you have to be so damn anti-upperty! Think how many innocent victims lives are spared by the stress relieving magic of utter uppertyness!

Pssst - Cheesebot, don't let tha robots know about uppertyness ok... We're counting on them!

Those attempting to create memes will go to jail and miss Ice Cream Tuesday.

(Anyway, double posting is and always will be the next AYBABTU.)

If you have Netscape 4.5+, prepare to meet the Crasher Robot.

It should of course be noted that this is a music video made from the song that the Laziest Men on Mars wrote to go along with the Something Awful Space Robot Bonanza ICQ prank. The Laziest Men on Mars, of course, also did the All Your Base song.

Oh god.. NoOoOo ice cream for me then Turaho.. Well if innocent un-premeditated slight contributions to the furtherment of a memelithic construction are counted.. Meme. v. A unit of cultural information, such as a cultural practice or idea, that is transmitted verbally or by repeated action from one mind to another.

Speaking of which...

The day before yesterday, I went to the supermarket. And I went to the section of the freezer where the ice cream is, thinking I'd get some. And it was all gone--just shelf after shelf of empty space where the ice cream used to be. Evidently, it was Ice Cream Day, and I'd come too late.

Such a sad tale [bottom lip quivers]. If it makes you feel any better Moss i went into Spud-U-Like in hope of acquiring a pipingly hot magnificently glorious jacket potato feast only to be told they had ran out of spuds! For icing-on-the-cake style added effect the woman then optimistically informed me 'You can still have a topping if you like'. I guess she was just a glass half-full kinda girl!.

Thank you, Kino, that does help; I already have potatoes at home, and had not recognized my good fortune.
