Rage is Xmas No. 1 in UK

The Facebook campaign to beat the X-Factor single to the top of the UK singles chart has been successful. Rage Against the Machine's Killing in the Name [Spotify] made the number 1 spot in today's Christmas chart. The campaign included a controversial radio appearance. Previously on MeFi.

This is quite a big deal, in terms of UK culture, the internet, and the pop music industry.
