Folks here should just love the comments at biggovernment. A good example:

"There is a God and he's smiling down. This feels soooooooooooo good. Call your representatives and tell them to wake up and listen!!! Keep up the good fight folks, our Country is worth it. Down with Obamamania....................he's toast!!!!!!!!!"

notswedish's post (right above mine) is more complete, and I only posted mine because I didn't see one up. Mods, please consider mine the dupe.

I am a Massachusetts liberal, and I am completely bewildered by the eruptions of glee on my facebook newsfeed. Working class and lower-middle class folks, just beside themselves with glee. What on Earth are they so happy about?

Losing Massachusetts? Now?

I swear, Republican incompetence in governance is surpassed only by Democratic incompetence in... everything else.

+1 to Biblio. I'm a young person from Mass and my FB feed is weirdly overwhelmed with Brown voters -- and was for the last three days. Can't say I was surprised by the outcome, but it's weird to see how popular Brown was. The state gets stereotyped a lot in the media, but there are a lot of anti-big-government types nonetheless. The state income tax was almost repealed in two consecutive ballot initiatives, for example.
