"we fuckin' love neil gaiman. and his dogs, cabal and lola. this blog is in fact dedicated to both, but nora and kaye are resistant to change and it's gaiman's fault for adopting a puppy long after the blog was established." Follow Neil Gaiman @neilhimself along with his partner and soon to be wife Amanda Palmer @amandapalmer on twitter.com This particular family unit enjoys blogging/tweeting about their pets.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Dogs are great and I heart Neil, but this is a really one-note blog and not in a "what a fascinating niche" sort of way. That internet celebrity is weird and interesting is true but doesn't make a post referencing some kinda banal Exhibit A a great post by itself. -- cortex

I don't know about you, but it's weird that such a website exists. Celebrities and their dogs who become so popular as to get their own blogs.

I realize that I'm perpetuating their celebrity by posting, still it's weird.

Creepy. Unless Gaiman is doing it, then it's just a bit sad. I am thinking creepy.

So I guess my plan for a website about Joss Whedon's gecko is tabled for now. That's too bad, because I intended to put a BPAL link up on the site and clean the fuck up.

this seems a bit, well, thin for an FPP.... I mean, I like dogs and all, but, dog pictures on the internet are pretty easy to find....

It's more about the fact that Neil Gaiman who is all about the internet, twitter, blogging, media, etc. Well he's so big on the net that even his pets are getting blogs devoted to them.

He just adopted a white German shepherd puppy and he regularly posts on his twitter feed about it and I found it interesting that an entire blog is set up just around these two pets and only because it's Neil Gaiman and all of the cultural capital he brings with him.
