The song is by "Ke$ha" apparently (no idea).

The youtube comments are predictably awful.

It's a missed opportunity to have done something really awesome, but I suppose it's hard to really bust a move when you're lugging around all that stuff.

More.

Also, I think it that this is a bad post although it probably would have been improved somewhat by describing where these soldiers are and why the street is empty.

Meh.

Now, if it was Al Qaeda getting jiggy to Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA," you'd have something.

No, not best of the web, not really

My understanding is that these soldiers are in Hebron on Shuhada Street.

No Palestinians were harmed in the making of this video. (We'll try to do better next time)

what a magically awesome place that must be where armed to the teeth soldiers roam the streets and break out in synchronized dance.

So this makes the Palestinian's Uffie? Seems about right.

I agree. And by the way, if this post doesn't get deleted I'm going to have a permanent suspicion of pro-Israeli bias on behalf of the moderators.

Heh. Okay. 'Cause the thread of comments underneath the post? Not exactly written by the staunchest of zionists.

Kind of a damned if they do/damned if they don't sort of situation, innit?

Sys Rq, I see your point. Wasn't there just a MetaTalk thread about banning all Israeli/Palestinian posts altogether unless it was something really extraordinary? I think this would qualify. Even without all the political considerations, this really just isn't that funny or unique.

Understandable but nonetheless shitty behaviour by the occupying force. I read a headline indicating they'd been disciplined, but I've no idea if it was truthful.

I'm gonna delete this in a second but I wanted to stop first and say "oh good god."
