The Panopticon finally pays off

If you steal someone's hybrid in Vermont, try to avoid running any red lights. Popular twitterer Scott Simpson had his car stolen recently. He then received a ticket for $476 for running a red light, complete with a picture of the driver.
This post was deleted for the following reason: not actually stolen (that's scott in the photo) and he's not in Vermont either (bay area, California) -- mathowie
I am pretty sure is actually Scott Simpson and this is a joke.

Joke. It would be far-fetched to believe that Simpson doesn't realize that his car is stolen from the time of red light was run and when he got the ticket in the mail.

In every red-light picture I've ever seen, the driver has looked exactly as doofy as this. Someone create a Tumblr dedicated to this phenomenon immediately.

releveancy, revilancgety, being on guard for...this type of situation which is odd folks there as there are mirrors, cameras and fun houses.

(Also, as punishment, you'll be assigned a new, six-digit user number. Something starting in the 7s.)
