Are there any two better words together than "Free Slurpee"?

Today is July 11th. In the Gregorian Calendar, that is the eleventh day of the Seventh month. The free world celebrates it as Free Slurpee Day. I've only posted this because we all love free slurpees. Also: it is Cow Appreciation Day as well. I'd prefer to get free goods without having to dress up like a cow, but that's just me.

7-Eleven has Gore, Bush and No Opinion cups. Then on their website is a 7-Election page using daily sale results from 5000 of their stores, you can see which cup is being chosen the most. (The cup gets scanned at the register and each cup has it's own UPC.) Right now the natonal cumulative results are 20% Gore 20% Bush and 60% No Opinion. Very neat idea, they also have links to register to vote for real.

The 7-11 website gets my vote for scariest splash screen image, ever. A burger shaped like a hot dog? Who would ever find that remotely appetizing? The site's not all bad though, they do have slurpee postcards.
