The B-Master Cabal is a site that aggregates some of the best bad movie review sites on the web and puts together for themed movie roundtables. Most of the sites focus not only on mocking bad films but also praising obscure horror, fantasy, action and science-fiction. B-Masters Roll-Call! Teleport City covers everything from Turkish spy movies to kung-fu rarities to Japanese whiskey. 1000 Misspent Hours and Counting has in-depth, critical reviews of classic horror and genre films. And You Call Yourself A Scientist! examines who movies handle from the perspective of a female scientist. Badmovies.org features a Marine dissecting crap film with copious quotes and clips. Jabootu.net posts excruciatingly long reviews of excruciating films, and is one of the few sites to cover contemporary trash like Gigli. The Unknown Movies Page unearths films too obscure even for the rest of the cabal. Cold Fusion Video, Stomp Tokyo, and Brain Eater round out the group

Rifftrax's new holiday release (preview highlight clips) tackles one of the most notorious bad movies of recent years, the infamous Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny, filmed at a struggling Flordia amusement park and produced by a porno director. More on the movie: Agony Booth, Invasion of the B Movies, WFMU's Out Of Context Cinema. (Unfortunate note: the full version is $10, but includes the movie itself.) (Side link: The park SatICB was filmed at, Pirates World, went out of business when Disney World opened up. The locations seen in the movie are all condos now. Before it closed they were known to host rock concerts, archive.org hosts a video of the Grateful Dead playing Pirates World) [more inside]

Tentacles - 1977 Italian Film That Is a Rip-Off of Jaws. Sherilyn Connelly over at The Dark Room Theater’s Bad Movie Night shares this 1977 Italian Jaws rip-off, with the satisfyingly cephalopadic moniker of Tentacoli (Italian for Tentacles, which it was named in the US). The movie features a host of big stars, plus Sheriff Lobo plus an orca PLUS some very large arms. Yes, despite the film being called Tentacles, arms because the creature attached to them is an octopus, not a Giant Squid. Here’s a montage from Tentacoli, set to the original soundtrack. It’s… not good. There are cheerleaders though. Via: Laughing Squid

Batman and Robin De-Assified. So, some anonymous gentleman has apparently tried to make a Joel Schumacher motion picture watchable. Gotta love comic geeks. [more inside]

Epic battle between John Mikl Thor and animatronic Satan! This is from Rock n' Roll Nightmare (a movie so good it has fans) starring "Legendary Rock Warrior" John Mikl Thor (previously of MetaFilter). WFMU's Beware of the Blog has more information on John Mikl Thor and many clips from the movie as well as a clip of Thor performing on The Mike Douglas Show in 1976 [qt].

Ever seen Troll 2? This movie is consistently in the top 5 on IMDB's Worst Films Ever list and is currently #1. There was a UCB screening for it in New York last week, and apparently it is starting to gain a pretty loyal and huge following.

Steely Dan vs. the Wilson Brothers It's all about Dupree and Dupree, and is a great example of what bored rock stars do when they're too old to trash the hotel room. (Or, the Bird Flu of Viral Promotion - you decide.)

They haven't gotten around to 2004 yet. But they perfectly sum up the state of hollywood by presenting...The Three Least Shitty Movies Of 2003. Plus the Least Shitty Actors, etc. SFW except for some language. Handy if you are looking for bittorrent inspiration. Also see THE TOP 100 MOVIES OF OUR TIME on the front page. You can argue your case streuously but no fighting. Though how anyone can take it seriously when Withnail & I does not appear on it is beyond me.
