In a
video shot at World Maker Faire in 2011, artist Andrew Salamone is shown demonstrating the knitting machine he's adapated and programmed to knit images, and displaying some of the amazing work he's produced with it: a ski mask with an image of his face on the front, a "break beat" scarf, and a sweater featuring a picture of Bill Cosby wearing a sweater with a picture of Bill Cosby on it. Salamone hopes to someday get Cosby to accept and wear the sweater he's designed.
God knows Cosby can't reject this sweater on the grounds that it's in any way inferior to the sweaters he's worn in the past. Check out more of Andrew Salamone's knitted art on
his web site. In my favourite piece, Salamone recreates a
still from
"The Muppet Bohemian Rhapsody".

Bill Cosby: "A lot of people think we oughta wash white, but we aint gonna, you see." "People think that we Afro-Americans started with nothing but little grass skirts like the kids in the Tarzan movies....but uh,
we had something before we left Africa." "Now if you want to look history right straight in the eye... you're going to get a black eye. Because it isn't important whether a few black heroes got lost or stolen or strayed in American history textbooks. What's important is
why they got left out."

Defense of Bill Cosby [...]My crimes that afternoon were two. I committed the transgression of wearing a tweed jacket, black sweater, black slacks and glasses, a no-no for the “ thug barbers" there because to be an appropriate African American by their standards was to wear saggy pants, sport jerseys and doo-rag caps. My second transgression was to bring a book, James Baldwin’s Notes of A Native Son.

Bill Cosby has no sense of humor... In a move that shocked the internet to the very soles of its shoes, Bill Cosby
sent had his lawyer send a Cease and Desist letter to the creator of
channel101.com's wildly popular
House of Cosbys series, asking... nay,
demanding the cessation of all Cosby related creative material generation. That's it. That's all there is to the story.
Wait! There's more! Channel101.com's Dan Harmon wrote
an open letter to Cosby's legal team informing them of his intention to continue hosting the original 4 episodes, even if no further episodes would be made.
Hell, even the adorable
Andrew Baio loves it. But then again, Andy Baio
also likes peach colored page designs...
Channel101.com also mentioned
