So, Vanity Fair reports rumors that Live Free Or Die Hard will be toned down to a PG-13 rating instead of a hard R. A writer for Aint It Cool News responds with an extended rant about "the pansy-assing of the 4th DIE FLACCID movie." End-of-the-world fanboy ranting continues in the TalkBacks for a couple days, when a Walter B shows up claiming (indirectly) to be Bruce Willis. Walter B trash-talks about the previous Die Hard sequels, Michael Bay, and Cybill Shepherd. The admins are skeptical. iChat FTW! Just wait till the bloggers get ahold of this one!

Bruce Willis offers $1million dollar bounty for Saddam. "Its awesome. Soldiers identify with action movies and action actors. He's a guy's guy." said commander Col Michael Linnington.
"..being over here just a couple of days, seeing how well our troops and the allied troops are being received here, (I) think the Iraqi people are happy we're here," the Hollywood star said. (But later admitted he had not met many Iraqis because he had been travelling the country by helicopter.) [Via BBC]

Giant asteroid hurtling toward your planet? Don't know what to do? Don't call Bruce Willis. Just build a giant airbag and nudge the sucker away.

Oh, that wacky Bruce Willis (Warning, links are to 2.5M/30" Quicktime movies.) This commercial has been running in Japan for awhile, and is being used to announce the merging of two gas station chains, Nisseki and Mitsubishi Sekiyu, into a new entity called Eneos. This one introducing Eneos high-octane fuel is even wackier. The third one has his voice dubbed except for the end where he utters that immortal Eneos slogan "Move You." Huh?
Does anybody else have a favorite foreign (not to you, necessarily) commercial with American stars doing/saying bizarre stuff?

Something about this really makes me mad. I saw the trailer for this movie and was totally blown away. They even have a cool url. So I decided to check it out... boy was I disappointed. Sure, they have a neat intro.. but half the stuff on the site is "Coming Soon" and the link for the trailer doesn't even work! How frustrating is that?
