January 14th marks the 4th birthday of
jQuery and also the release of
jQuery 1.4. To celebrate the release of the latest version of the popular
JavaScript library the jQuery team has created the
14 Days of jQuery site, which will be updated each day with a new announcement or release. There’s also
prizes to be had for the coolest use of jQuery.

Looking for a design for your next website?
Strange Banana is a generator that randomly produces XHTML transitional, CSS-layout-driven webpages. Hit "refresh" repeatedly, and find that one layout that matches your inner web designer's dream. (
Found on Zeldman's Daily Report.)

Interesting The guy who wrote
Your CSS Bores Me(previously linked and discussed
here) has decided to accept his own challenge. For the month of February, he will be applying a different stylesheet to the index page of his site, with no manipulation of the HTML document itself. This is one to watch, if you're also a code geek.
